We will not sell or give away information that you have provided to us. Under no circumstances do we share customer information with third parties. None of the information that you provide us is sold, rented, or given in any way to anyone else. Our mailing list is used only for our internal e-mail and USPS shipping.

This site has strong security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control. You can be confident that your information is protected. Payment processing is managed through PayPal.
With PayPal, your financial information is shielded with secure server software (SSL), which is the best available technology for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, which prevents others from accessing it during transmission over the Internet. No one has access to your credit card information (including us), and it is stored securely behind a firewall.
If you would rather order via phone, please call us at 410-452-0800 to place your order. If calling after hours, please leave a message with your phone number and a good time to call you back and we will return your call.
You can easily order and pay online using our shopping cart through the PayPal merchant program. All major credit cards are accepted as well as debit cards with a Visa logo. You do not need to have an account with PayPal in order to charge your purchase. If you do have an account with PayPal, you may also use that to pay for your purchase. Please note that your PayPal receipt will read, Village Peddler, Inc..
Sales tax is charged for items shipped within the state of Maryland at a rate of 6%. Prior to your submitting the order for processing, an itemized total will be presented which includes product cost, shipping and sales tax (if applicable).
Web-Site Gift Certificates
Purchase a gift certificate for the amount of your choice and send it to your recipient. The difference between the value of the gift certificate and the product(s) added to cart is calculated and the difference recorded accordingly. The recipient is notified via an e-mail which includes a personalized message and the code they will need to enter on checkout to redeem their gift certificate. A confirming e-mail is sent to you, the buyer.
We use USPS (U.S. Postal Service) to ship all orders. At this time, we can only ship within the U.S.
Merchandise shipped via Standard Delivery and will arrive approximately one week from the date your order is shipped. Orders sent to Hawaii and Alaska may take longer to arrive. Orders requesting Express delivery must be placed prior to noon Eastern Standard Time on the day of shipment. The USPS Express mode of delivery guarantees 1-2 days delivery.
Note: On rare occasions orders may be shipped up to 3 days after placement of order. If an order is scheduled to ship longer then 3 business days of order placement, we will contact you with an estimated shipping date.
- Most Domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail Service and typically take 1-6 business days for delivery. If an item requires longer shipping times, it will be noted in that product's description.
We cover all packages with shipping insurance. This insurance covers damage and, more importantly, loss. The cost of insurance will automatically included in the shipping cost upon checkout.

Although we do our best to communicate our inventory availability during your shopping experience, there may be some instances where as the order is being processed, we may need to adjust the status of your order. In some cases, we may need to cancel items from your order if they are discontinued and we have none in stock to ship. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please know we are constantly working to improve your shopping experience. We thank you for your business.
Village Peddler/Cute Stuff Online has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed. We have the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will refund your money promptly. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. If your item has been damaged during shipping or has a defect we will make every effort to replace it. Please call us at 410-452-0800 to arrange for a new item to be shipped out to you.
For purchases made online there is a 30 day return policy, from the date of shipment. Shipping cost is non-refundable and and we do not provide return shipping.
All sales are final for discontinued clearance items and custom orders. We recommend you use a standard shipping carrier for your return label and obtain a tracking ID for your package. Please allow 5-10 business days to inspect your return and process your refund or exchange.
Please ship the item(s) back to us in their original packaging and we will credit your account as soon as we receive the item. Credit card purchases can only be refunded to the original purchasing credit card. We will notify you via e-mail when your package has been received.
